BEFORE YOU ENTER THE CONTEST PLEASE READ ALL THE RULES!
(Print them out if you need to for future reference)

THE CONTEST:
VILLAINS!

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send CC a PM!

  • THE RULES:
  • Contest is open to EVERYONE
note: to ensure no one is "cheating", no members joining the month of the contest is eligible to win the prizes that month.
  • One entry per artist. Try and be as ORIGINAL as possible, do it in pencil, crayon, markers, action figures, Photoshop whatever you are comfortable with. Photo-manips are allowed. For example: manip’ing Wolverine using photos is OK – but be sure and tweak it creatively. I don’t want to simply see a cut and paste that looks like it took you 5 mins, that’s not very creative. Using art/photo reference is okay, I just don't want to see anyone directly COPY an existing piece of ARTWORK... and please credit your sources!
  • Your entry should be posted HERE in this thread. Using artwork created by someone else and claiming it as your own will not be allowed - and that entry will be disqualified. Originality is always key!
  • Please keep the comments and critiques as FAIR as possible. Remember however by posting your entry you are open to critique!
  • ONE ENTRY PER ARTIST!
  • Take your time and show 'em your best work, try to avoid posting works-in-progress. (Any duplicate entries may be deleted without notice from the thread). You may want to check the thread occasionally to see that your entry is still posted, any entries not showing at the close of the contest may be disqualified. Also if you choose to 'team-up' with another artist then you must clearly state both names with the entry and who did what.
  • Any pieces of art that have been entered in previous contests are not allowed
  • IMAGE HOSTING - You will need to host your own image and link it here in this thread.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me a PM!

ONLY IMAGES CREATED BY YOU AND POSTED ONLY IN THIS THREAD ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CONTEST. By entering the contest you are agreeing that the artwork submitted is original and created by you the artist, and by posting an image you are open to critique!

GOOD LUCK!
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me a PM!

Ooh, this should be good! Let's hope I finally have time to finish an entry.

you've got til the end of Sept

This is my submission for the Fan Art Contest.
It is of Yellow-Jacket from Ant-Man.
Ant-Man has sneaked into his wardrobe and altered his costume!
I was going to add Deadpool at the bottom saying "Actually, I did it" but I thought it
would take away from the simplicity of this piece. I have made the unicorn horn pink to contrast with the yellow and have made the tennis balls green to contrast with the red and pink glow in his suit. Thanks!

don't give up. if you don't like what you've done or want to work on something new to submit, you still have until the end of September

thanks, the BR costume is probably my favorite. I'm not really a Tim Burton superfan, but I always admired that the strength of his batman movies was their artistry, which is something I felt the Nolan movies really lacked. Snyder's take on Batman, and Superman as well seems to be more artistically inclined, which is a good thing, I think.

bumping the contest. still plenty of time to enter yall!

no. i've shipped to US, Canada and UK off the top off my head

anyone is eligible

two weeks left!

i will add another prize when another entry is submitted!!!

which one are you entering?

Hey guys here is my submission. It is of course Lord Vader. This is a stained glass mosaic that measures 30inches by 32inches. It considered a glass on glass (GOG) piece as it is stained glass glued to double strength clear glass. All glass is opaque except for the red in the light saber, this allows light to shine through only the light saber. It is grouted with sanded black grout. I have linked 2 photos of the same pic as its really difficult to see the detail if you are standing in front of the piece. Hope you like it. I was able to watch the entire series of Firefly and Falling Skies while working on this creature.
