Then Pete can kiss any relationship he has or plans to develop with MJ good by. We all saw how she reacted when she found out that Pete and Gwen were lab partners, God only knows she'll have a fit if Felicia turns out to be "pals" with Pete.

For some reason I picture Nic Cage's nerdy sidekick in National Treasure as a good fit for Peter's buddy in the next movie. I'm not sure what the guys name is though.

I really don't think Peter needs a new pal. If they did cast someone as Peter's buddy, it would just distract from the actual story. There's plenty of characters in the Spider-Man movies - no need to write in extra ones just for the hell of it.

I don't even know why he was at the funeral, (i mean, it was a nice lil cameo for him) but, he wasn't that close with harry

Gwen would be more of a romantic interest than a friend, imo....

I think it's dumb that someone like Peter Parker doesn't have a bunch of friends in the comics. And the writers have to surround them with misfortune.

It's sad that Randy Robertson is the only other friend I can think of for Peter after Harry.

They have to think of a good way to introduce him though.
