Yesterday was the second day of filming for Fallen, a short film I am directing about a superhero who decides to quit and must suffer the ramifications of his actions when a city in chaos turns to him for help.

We were filming off of LaSalle and Adams, right where they filmed The Dark Knight last year where they flipped The Joker's semi-truck. I wanted to just share some photos and relay my utter excitment for this project, which I hope you will all like when it is done!

Fallen just wrapped filming this morning and will be online by December.

Kudos dude, its a shame this thread isnt getting any attention but well done to you. So how long did filming last?

It lasted three days. We had one day in Gary, Indiana and then two days in Chicago.

Looking good, man. Keep us posted - I'd like to see this when it's done.

I just have one question...where did you get the money to do this?

Well, I hope it would not be deemed just a "fan movie". It is based off an original superhero and does not pertain to any originally created property like Batman or Superman.

Looks very good Seen! Did you get funding for this, or are you making it off your own back?

Sounds interesting, and looks like a quality project

Looks...Professional! I hope everything goes well for you and everyone involved in this project.

This is very interesting. I'm an aspiring filmmaker myself so just to see what you guys are doing and how much goes into short films really makes me inspired to jump at this later down the line. I'll be looking forward to this!

We got a filmmaker among us! How cool is that!? :woot: good luck with your project, Seen

Very cool man. You're directing your own superhero movie! And you are making it wehere The Dark Knight was shot. That is atleast 17 types of cool.

I have a couple of questions for you:

1. Is this a labour of love, or were you hired by a production company and are you working with a paid crew?
2. Superheroes! How about special effects?

And I wish you the best of luck with this production.

Looks cool, good luck with the project.

Labor of love man, but people did get paid.

2. Superheroes! How about special effects?

Well, we're going the practical approach with this, so we did as much in-camera effects as possible (mirroring a certain superhero franchise...) but there will be some effects added in post. Very minimally, though.

And I wish you the best of luck with this production.

Thanks a ton!

Looks great. Can't wait to see it. Closing off Lasalle and Adams? Can't be cheap.

Those look good man

How much is this going to run you?

The production budget was $30,000.
