Iceman gets out of the x-jet with kitty they go down an kitty phases threw the floor with bobby and bobby says don't do that ever again.

What a let down... So much hype over the slide, and it doesn't happen?.....:down

No iceslide? Wasn't it confirmed in one of the set reports?

Soooo...does anyone know exactly how long he stays iced up???

I don't think he actually stays iced up in the way Colossus stays metalled up. Baseless opinion only but I'm not expecting long.

I think he ices up, knocks out Pyro and then the scene cuts to another scene. Yeah, not long, I'm guessing. :down

I don't know if it was ever confirmed, but you know how those things go . . . kind of like with the sentinel speculation (even though there were reports of a head, it somehow managed to turn into multiple sentinels) . . . people sometimes get carried away. So I guess it's Kitty and Iceman phasing into the ground from the X-Jet drop then? It's cool and effective, but yeah, it would have been a great opportunity to have a nod to the iceslide.

Yeah, I bet that's what happens too.

It's amazing with the effects budget this movie we get, Collossus in a rubber suit, and a short scene of Bobby icing up.

I guess I should be glad it happened at all.

Even the storm scenes of her spinning around, look incredibly stupid.

I'll give them props on the bridge scene though. Finally we see mags doing something showing his tremendous power.

The budget was around $210 million, that's nothing compared to Spiderman 3, which is tens of millions more.

Once again Bobby Drake won't get to show off the full extent of his powers. The most worthwile thing we got out of IceMan in X-2 was the ice wall that he generated, so what does he do with his powers in this movie, freeze over a pond or fountain for him & Rogue or Kitty to skate on & hit Pyro with his ice spray blast or ice extinguisher?

I guess ice sliding for Bobby/IceMan in the movies just wasn't meant to be but it would have been cool to see him do. At least we will always have reruns of Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends to see IceMan do his thing.

This is just a nitpick and i'm probably alone in this but i hate how they're repeating lines from the previous movies when it really isn't needed. :(

"Don't ever do that again."

"I like what you've done with your hair."

I'm sure there's others.

I remember Shawn saying that the iceslide is in and that it was very expensive to pull off.

I've noticed the similarities in lines too. Pyro, also has a similar line to one of his own in X2.

In X2, he tells Magneto, "That's a dorky looking helmet."

In X3, when they first introduce Juggernaut, he says something along the lines of "Nice helmet."

. . . not the exact same lines, but you get the idea--same meaning, tone, etc.

I was wondering if I was the only one who had noticed some of the similaritites too.

i think we will all be surprised when we see the film in a few days. i can just sense it.....my spidey senses are tingling lol

^I agree, this movie is going to surprise the hell outta me

Hell, we can't even get those on DVD yet. The fan website has petitions that you can submit to the studio that owns the right to it, so you (fans) can fight for a DVD version of the episodes... I've done it.
