Pineapple Express

saw this movie last night. pretty good overall. it wasn't constantly funny like stepbrothers but it had its moments. 8/10

imo, this was wayyyy better than stepbrothers, i heard more laughter in this than step brothers

Does anyone know if the shirt Saul(Franco) wears is a real shirt you can buy somewhere?

This one

Ive tried watchinHot Rod i have it acutually it just seemed waaaay to stupid for me and Drillbit Taylor ive heard good things but it really aint my type of movie

Pineapple Express didn't do it for me. Seth Rogen was Seth Rogen as usual... he's overstayed his welcome. Seriously. Danny McBride and especially James Franco kept my ass in the seat. Without those two I would've left twenty minutes in.

I enjoyed this much more than Superbad, which I hated. I expect I'll like Tropic Thunder more though. And the guy at the begining of this was funny as s**t, can't remember his name though. The Army private on weed.:woot:

Thats the whole point its suppose to be silly and stupid. Both of them are.

This movie was absolutely hilarious. James Franco stole the show.

"**** THE PO-LICE!!!"
:lmao:

One of the best from the Apatow crew. Almost all the shows at my theater were sold out. I'm pretty sure this will be the movie to take down "The Dark Knight".
Oh man, the delivery of that line was absolutely perfect. Franco definitely was the best part of PE.

Or the part where Bill Haders cahracter takes acid and calls up Rod and you see he's got a big piece of metal shard in his eyebrow.

Yeah Bill Hader's pretty hilarious in just about everything he's in, kinda like Danny McBride. Good to see that the two of them have been in 2 movies together even if they didn't share any scenes this time around (I think both of them are in Tropic Thunder too but I'm not sure).

Yeah, both are in tropic thunder.

New film from Judd Apatow. Here's the description:

A stoner (Seth Rogen) and his dealer (James Franco) are forced to go on the run from the police after the pothead witnesses a cop commit a murder. It's apparently half action, with lots of guns, and half comedy. I just imagine a combination of Half Baked and Hot Fuzz with Apatow's brilliance injected.

4 minute clip:

Just read the description from the first page and realized that it said a new film from Apatow, when truthfully he's only a producer. This is mostly rogen's work.

Judd had a hand in the story a little bit, but yeah it was mostly Seth and his friend Evan.
