Miramax and now the Weinstein Company holds the rights and after watching it and listening to it and reading it...

Will a screen adaptation of Pippin work? I mean its a stage-show about a troupe of actors who come to the stage to present to you a show about a collective trying to control the singular. Once the singular breaks free, he ruins the show and the Leading Player's dreams.

What are your guys' takes? Unless you are too busy discussing Indie 4 or arguing about how bad the rating is for the new Die Hard.

Semms like a pretty lame idea, might work as a stage play, but doesn't seem like an interesting idea for a movie.

Also, probably not the best idea to start a discussion by *****ing about what other people are talking about.

This is not about the film (I bet it will never get made) but the new US touring production schedule is up, and they're hitting a lot of cities. This is my favorite musical of all time, and I dare say if every comic book fan who never goes to live theatre had to go to one show and enjoy it, this would be it. The best way I would describe it to someone on this board is if it was a road movie about Luke Skywalker and The Joker.

Anyway, here is the tour schedule. http://www.pippinontour.com/schedule.php
