Looks like one of those guilty pleasures -- gory, fun, mindless, cheesy. Pure popcorn summer horror movie.

Btw, although I probably won't go see it (mainly because I don't have the time), I'm surprised by the positive reviews I read about this movie, and Alexandre Aja (the director) hasn't had a turd in his resume yet, with High Tension, Mirrors, and The Hills Have Eyes all being better than average. Besides, I read that there's plenty of gore, nudity, and very cheesy homage to classic horror flicks like Jaws. I'll probably see this eventually on DVD.

It looks really fun. I think ill watch it online but that seems like the worst place to see this. I would call a couple friends over but they get annoying at times.

That is actually Surprising. Usually Critics hate movies like this. I think I will see this tomorrow after work because to be honest its the only movie that comes out this week that looks fun.

Damn looking at the Rotten Tomatoes meter and now its went up from last night its now at 89. This is nuts could it really be good corny fun? Might be one of those Guilty Pleasures movies.

I really enjoyed it . It starts out with all these cliches and the deaths are mostly off camera but then the second half is this incredible gore fest . It was alot more creative and a little more terrifying that I expected. There is some really funny jokes in relation to nudiy and genitilia , also the way they use 3d is mostly for gags . It is campy and exploitation , the acting is decent , jerry o connel really hams it up .

Loved this movie. It was like a 70's B movie on steroids. Everything was over the top greatness. Achieved everything it was trying to be.
