Where is the bank manager's incentive? You just marched into the bank and killed every bystander and teller in the building.

that reminds me of a case that was tried years ago.
the tellers were behind the bullet proof glass so the robber grabbed an old man in line and put a gun to his head and said "give me all the money right now or else i kill him".
the teller said no so he shot the man.
the robber was caught and the family of the old man wanted to sue the bank for damages.
