I'm thinking we should try an open forum discussing such.

In my case,.. I have been harrassed many times and only brutalized twice.

I have looked down the barrel of a officers gun twice in ten years.

I have been treated like something requiring batons and shotguns on one occasion where they surrounded my car and waited for me to react.

With all this I'll say: All the Harrassment went no further BECAUSE I didn't give the police an excuse when in every one of those cases they were looking for one.
The Brutilizing stopped when the Government card was pulled out,.. and I was let up with the cops telling ME I need to be quicker as far as identifying myself.
The surrounded car was on a tip that the getaway car from a bank robbery was the same as what I was driving - and up to the point where an Eye witness arrived to say I was the wrong color,... at least two of the five were almost drooling in anticipation of collaring me.

Now,... Has ANYONE Else been Brutalized?

Never brutalized by the police, myself. Just the usual speeding tickets and foot chases from underage kegger parties in my youth.

I've been stopped many times...I feel their stares were brutal. :o Never been sodomized with a nightstick or anything like that.

my dad was in the police for for a while and when I was small he used to beat me , does that count

No.

I can think of four or five posters that will be the primary contributors to this thread though. :whatever:

He's a cop. Most departments make officers endure a macing and often a tazing just so they know what it feels like. I know my brother's had to do both, as have several of my friends that are cops.

I'll bet you've been tazed AND maced by cops, funeman. ;)

Numerous times...each much less enjoyable than the time before. :csad: Though the tazer does give you a nice tingly feeling in your nether regions! :woot:

One time a cop drug me away from a friend who was having a seizure so the EMT's could get to her. Then he asked me what drugs I gave her and the EMT's told her that I wouldn't bother her anymore when she called my name.

I think he touched my boob.

Never. I almost got a speeding ticket once. Almost.

"Brutality" is way too strong a word but I definitely "suffered" unnecessarily physical rough treatment when they told us to get on the ground and one threw me down into a gravel and oily mud water puddle.

And lots of insanely inappropriate verbal abuse which was terrifying as it was saying so much more about the twisted, demented, closeted, violent cops than anything else.

F***ing Freaks. :o

Didn't think about it that way.:csad: Friggin cops...drive by time at the local Krispy Kreme! :hyper:

Haha! True story; we had a truck full of diesel crash and spill right next to a Krispy Kreme (the only one on that side of town). There were IMMEDIATELY a ton of cops on the scene, rerouting traffic and getting clean up, fire and ambulance crews mobilized. I've never seen a disaster area cleaned up so fast in my entire life. :D

No, never been a victim of police brutality, I've been pulled over a number of times, but it was always my fault for speeding, making an illegal turn... A few of them were *****, but I always complied so there was no reason for him to touch me. Only time I've been pulled over for no real reason was going to Canada, New Years '99-'00, cops searched my car because it was three jackass American college kids in a car, probably thought they might make an easy drug bust, we were smart enough to leave the little bit of weed we brought at the hotel for the night.

Can you blame him?
