Playstation Emulation on PSP through PS3

Hahah, man, it's so awesome. I downloaded Syphon Filter. Kickass. I lost my disc for it a while back. I think I might download Crash Bandicoot next.

How ges the PSP/PS1 thing? Do they look good on the screen?

Yeah, it's pretty good. Hitting the home button brings this up:

There are a bunch of control layout options to choose from, which was nice 'cause ever since I got comfortable with the analog stick, going back to a d-pad to move around hurts my hands. As for the screen sizes, there's original, a smallish box in the center. Then there's normal, the box blown up so it's from top to bottom, and then widescreen.

It's cool to hear and see the original PS loadup thing on the PSP too, such a weird feeling.

THat looks good, how does the system compensate for the L2/R2?

Default is the analog left/right. But I switched it up so the d-pad is the L2/R2 and analog = movement. The shoulder buttons weren't really that important anyway so, not bad. Can deal with it. Just can't play as smooth as I could with a controller, since it's a b**ch to strafe around corners.

Syphon Filter looks great. I wanna play it now. I'll have to search for a used copy or something, or wait to download it once I get a PS3.

Loved the original Syphon Filter it's a shame it wasn't until Dark Mirror that good sequel emerged, I'll definitely pick this up along with Crash

Man, I still HOPEFULLY have a 3 months wait (though more pushing back is immenant). Didn't know you were on the PS3 roster MC I REALLY can't wait to put PS1 games on me PSP.

Some questions from myslef though:

1. How much do these things cost if any?
2. It easy transferring games over?
3. It eat up memory space?
4. Any more games confirmed? I know of Resi 1, Tekken 2, Sypthon Filter, Twisted Metal and something else, I know all PS1 games are planned but what's next in line?

1) I didn't check the prices so I don't know if they vary, but SF was like, $7.99 Canadian or something. And I think there was some bulls**t download fee or something, but I'm not sure. I know I put $10 into the Sony Store wallet thing, and now it's down to like, 2 something. So.

2) It goes directly into the PSP after confirming the purchase and hitting download, so you need to have it connected to the PS3. Well, that's how I did it, I don't know if there's any other way.

3) Yesss it does.

I'd imagine things with two discs to be double the normal size. I have a 2GB MS duo, and I have an iPod nano now so I can use most of the space for games instead of music+movies+pictures.

4) I don't know what's coming up, but you made me check the Sony Store in hopes of finding a Resident Evil game there for download. Damn man. Hopes shattered.

Damn, my duo is 512 mb. If I delete a PS1 game off of it once I've completed it, will I have to pay again if I ever want to put it back on there? Or is it directly on your PS3 too?

Dunno if it goes to the PS3's HDD, but it'd be stupid if you couldn't download it from the Sony Store again for free after buying it. I know for sure however, that you can keep it on your computer.
