PSP and PS2 HD Remastered Games Thread

The reviews for it are great. There's nothing bad to be said about it in them. The PSP games not being on disc is not a good reason to avoid it. The HD remasters of the PSP/PS2 games are amazing and among the best quality you will find out there. Plus it comes with GoW3. If Im not mistaken the DLC stuff is included with that as well. The Saga collection is highly reccommended. You cant go wrong with it if you are a GoW fan or never tried the series before

It does put a pretty strict time limit on picking the Saga up though.

The Final Fantasy X stuff looks good

I just brought The ICO and Shadow Of The Colossus 2-pack.I've been wanting to play both of these games for awhile.

I'm kinda hoping that the expiration date will be removed, I've redeemed expired codes before and they worked. I've been meaning to go the Saga for a while, as well as the other other Playstation Collections like Infamous and Resistance. I wonder if those two have expiration dates on codes too...

Recently been buying games again and I've been on such a kick into buying these HD releases of the classic PS2 titles. Just wish I had more time to be able to sit down and appreciate them.

Congratulations on seeing the light and picking up two of the greatest video games EVER.

I'm replaying Ico right now and it's just as awesome as it was the first time around.

Yeah I went back and replayed Shadow HD two weekends ago. It's the most finely-crafted game I've ever played except for maybe Dark Souls.

^ I've been playing video games since the late 80s, so I don't make the proclamation of 'greatest video game ever' lightly.

Ico and Shadow are masterworks, and they're even better in HD (I haven't started replaying Shadow, but have seen footage of the HD render).

Regarding Ico HD, the controls are still wonky and Yorda's AI is still spotty, but I personally think those things are part of the game's charm and I would've been disappointed if they'd messed with them.

Ive always found Ico to be a bit overrated and that opinion didnt change once I finally played through the whole game last year via the collection. Its pretty too look at but IMO, there wasnt much to the gameplay and therefore wasnt all that fun. Being an extended escort mission was annoying and made it a turn off from the beginning.

Just beat Ico (something I'd never done when I played it before), and will be starting Shadow again tomorrow or on Tuesday, depending on on when I have some more free time.

I've been doing that. It's just that I had to take a break I'll try again soon.

I really hope we get a release date on FFX HD at E3. This would be a great title to tide over the summer.
