Now that most have seen the *illegal* trailer, what are your thoughts on it? I thought it was pretty cool It got the main points across and it showed what sort of tone we're gonna expect. Even though it's not all that epic, there wasn't anything wrong with the trailer (except for drawn stuff and a few shots here and there, but that's because it's not finished) and it's Spiderman. Come on.

Also, Spiderman was being too mean to the guy who crashed into several innocent police officers and pedestrians.... What a jerk!

Actually, is there a way to take back my vote? I would like to see the official HD trailer beforehand. Well, it doesn't really matter.

When does this poll close? I want to put my vote in, but I still want to see it in HD just to be fair. I'm still envisioning a lot of the effects in my head and how they'll pan out.

For the trailer itself, I'd give it about an 8.5 or so. Hard to rate it with such bad quality footage.

I voted cool. The footage was blurry so it's difficult to give that a specific rating. There were some good elements to the footage such as Spidey's costume, the tone, humor. However there were some iffy moments such as the laundry scene. Also, it wasn't much of a trailer that was focused on a point to point motif--it came off as a "look at this cool stuff" montage. I get that it's pieced together that way due to the short time between the end of filming.

I don't know that this really counts as a trailer yet. It's early footage with a little unfinished CGI and some concept art. Some of this footage might not even make it into the actual trailers. However, it did get me pretty excited despite it being blurry. I gave it the top rating. But we'll see if I change my mind when official stuff starts coming out.

Yeah I really don't count this trailer as a trailer to show off much plot and stuff. It was strictly for SDCC attendees to show off to hardcore fans.

TASM is still very enjoyable to me. It's not nearly as strong as SM2 or SM1 overall. But it does have its strong points.

Electro seems like such a self pitying loser. "I'm a nobody". The action and humor seemed good. Very intrigued by the Osborn stuff.

It should be, partially. His and many others'. Why shouldn't this film aim to make amends for TASM 1's shortcomings?

I liked the trailer. I gotta say, I was afraid that based on criticisms of Spidey being a "*****e" in the 1st movie, they'd bactrack on the humor, kind of like they did with the costume. But the trailer showed more of that in spades, and I liked both the Rhino teasing and his laundry jokes. Just please, PLEEEEASE, give Sally Field something to do this time other than to babble on and on about secrets. There was more than enough of that in the 1st movie, come on now.
