Seinfeld will star in, direct and produce Unfrosted, a film comedy he co-wrote with Spike Feresten and Barry Marder that is inspired by a joke he told on the stand-up stage about the world-shaking invention of Pop-Tarts. Netflix has committed to a green light and a production start next spring.

I hate the whole "origin of a well-known corporate product" trend happening in movies right now. It's just trying to get you to buy whatever item that's the focus of the film.

With that said, I think they did a good job of giving the film an identity outside of that. The more absurdist comedy worked for me in that trailer.

Me, on the other hand, I'm so tired of Amy Schumer.

Not gonna lie, there are more than a few people in this movie besides Schumer who probably are best tolerated in small doses. Yes, I'm also including Seinfeld in that category. I've never found his standup to be anything special and he was upstaged by everyone else on his own show.
