Fanfilm makers don't say 'non union,' because they have no risk of union people applying. Also, fanfilm makers don't make TV serieses, much lest casting calls for them. Also fanfilm makers do not use craglist, they get on forums like this and petition the community for help with their fanfilm.
It's not a big studio, but it's not a fanfilm either. Draw conclusions from there...
Also, "real shows" are already past the casting stages, and AITC/DCcomics.com do not report on every show concept in it's infancy, especially if there's a chance of it stalling out, and seeing as how this is non-union done by, likely a small startup studio, it's has a bit less chance than say, Global Frequency.
For casting: Get that guy from "The Closer" and put it on Sci-Fi channel and make this bird fly. Booyah.
Also, Kyle has only been part of the GLC since Rebirth and hasn't been 'just a Green Lantern' for six months. If you see a show called GLC, why would you expect Kyle to be in it? If there was a show about Kyle, you wouldn't expect the GLC to be in it would you? There's no precedent in comics for that...
