I want to see a prologue that harks back to General Zod's announcent video.

The film opens on a dark dank crevice, the camera slowly rises up the crevice and we hear low voices. As the camera reaches the top of the cliff face we are greeted with an expansive cave, the Bat Cave.

Alfred is tending to a wounded Batman who is sitting at the batcomputer working. Alfred is trying to convince Bruce to slow down, take a break. Suddenly the power cuts out, but unlike metropolis and the Kent's farm the Batcave has an emergency generator that kicks in. Then we're shown this.

Cut to black and a credits sequence that shows Daily Planet articles showing Superman's exploits over the next 12 months.

Well, it still sticks out to me that we actually see Kal-El's birth right out of the box. So, yeah, DOOMSDAY could be a strong possibility. And maybe you could have a situation that has tons of action but not the level of destruction if you do what many posters here wanted in the Zod fight. Superman putting himself inbetween Doomsday and his potential victims, time and time again. Wearing himself down, until the inevitable. Just a thought.
