there was a glitch with the Barnes and Noble mobile site. There were some $8 off coupon codes floating around that on the mobile site, you could use for anything. All of these films were less than $8 and i got free shipping as a member, so free

I'm also doing this Disney Movie Club thing, and I got 5 movies for like $.99. Only have to buy 3 more movies at regular price over two years or something, which, with a kid, ain't really hard to do!

-Wreck-It Ralph (BR)
-Toy Story (BR)
-John Carter (BR)
-Disney's Oceans (BR)
-Cars (BR)
-Doc McStuffins (DVD)

Not a bad deal.

I've been thinking about trying that! Sounds like a good deal

i've used the Disney Movie Club many times. Suzanne does your 3 commitment titles include the one you can buy at enrollment or are they additional? making 4 total

quasi if you do decide to join, PM me first. I will send you a promo code to get 7 disney movies at $21.90, with a free mickey blanket, promising to buy 2 more commitments in the next 2 years.
math is: 5 at .20 each, one commitment at 11.95, optional additional movie for 8.95 = 21.90

I should have listed it in my first post. I paid about $12 for the Wreck-It Ralph BR on enrollment I think but it does count toward my commitment titles, so I only need to buy two more, for three total. I think it's three, I can't remember right now. But over a two year period. But given that it includes Disney/Pixar cartoons and Marvel Studio and Lucasfilm movies, that'll be super easy to meet.

Actually, I'll probably use up another commitment title for Captain America The Winter Soldier, so… :woot:

And then I also got Tangled 3D with my previous DMR points, only paid for shipping on that. And I noticed some Avengers stuff you can redeem your DMR points for. That'll be happening, guaranteed.

sweet
i've probably done the DMC about 5 or 6 times by now
and i'm also a member of the DMR club so it's nice to see someone else utilizing it. they've had some pretty cool avengers related stuff (movie posters, bobbleheads, etc)

i've got one commitment left on my account since i did the Tarzan/Hercules featured selection deal. ideally i'd like to finish out this account before Winter Soldier comes out and use it on a new one but we'll see

Whoops! I finally registered on the DisneyMovieClub site - I have 3 more commitment titles to go, four total :)

Still, it'll be easy to fill, seeing how much of the stuff in the DisneyMarvelPixarLucasfilm catalogue I'll be itching to buy for the rugrat. And me.

there's a rumoured Buy 2 Get 1 free promo for next month. you could knock 2 commitments out with that if it's true. i'm PM you if there's any more news on that

^^^ Not a fan of the film but I dig that KMS steelbook.

I picked up these following movies (although the Ghidorah/Mothra set was a gift, along with the 300 Rise of an Empire dvd from the BD set).

"The Rebels", a delightfully cheesy 1979 TV miniseries based on the John Jakes historical novel, starring Andrew Stevens, Doug McClure, and a VERY young Don Johnson. William Daniels also reprises his '1776' role as John Adams (but he doesn't sing this time around :) ).

Django Unchained

Finally managed to get the DVD on sale for 10 bucks.

Finally upgraded from this:
