haha i am cutting back though. if you count my films on UV, i probably have about 1600 individual titles.
i have 350+ titles on UV and maybe 20% of those are movies i also have physical copies of

i've been trading a lot of my movies in for credit, or the T3G1 promo at Moviestop. i've even donated some DVDs to the library. I've also done the Disc to Digital thing via Vudu to get rid of some movies that i dont need to have physical copies of lol

i bet you have way more than me. do you catalog your collection?

I think you have already surpassed me! :wow: :D I used to catalog them on DVD afficiandao but I haven't kept up with it the last few years.

i keep track on blu-ray.com
the app is pretty handy too. sometimes i'll check it to make sure i don't already own something before i buy it lol

Why?

I'm thinking about myself. I have too many DVD's...have already given away two or three bags full of movies now.

Two years ago, I felt a lot of films that I wanted on video were coming out too close to each other and blu rays were like $25-$30 each and collections were more or less $100 with tv shows even on dvd being over $50, so it felt too much! A big holiday trip was coming up and needed money so I decided to just sell my whole dvd/blu ray collection.

Since then, I just rent or purchase certain films digitally as it's more convenient for me and way cheaper.

I only unintentionally double dipped once, and it was for a movie I forgot I have on one of those 50 packs Mill Creek puts out.
