Laverne & Shirley Season 1 (1976): When it comes to TV shows, I am a retro sitcom/classic TV junkie (I was one of those kids who was more excited about Nick at Nite than Nicktoons). Laverne & Shirley has always been a favorite of mine, so I decided to finally start picking up the DVDs. I'm only going to purchase the first five seasons; I disliked the show greatly once the characters moved to California.

The Room (2003): I recently found out that a lot of my friends have NOT seen this. I bought this DVD with the mission to make them watch it. Plus, the movie is always fun to watch in a group. I'm happy with my purchase. :p

The Room is best seen on the big screen at midnight with like-minded individuals. I'll probably never watch the BD or DVD I have of it. Just won't be the same.

I got Interstellar, Edge of Tomorrow, and Ninja Turtles (2014) on Blu-Ray, from a website called FamilyVideo. 5 bucks each. :)

I can see why. I've heard those screenings are a blast to go to. I'll try to go to one at some point ...

One of my best friends was able to go to one a few years ago while she was living far away, going to school for her Master's Degree. She had never seen the movie, and randomly found out that it was happening, so she thought "Why not?" and went to the screening. She ended up loving the experience.

She also got to meet Tommy Wiseau. When she heard that he was signing stuff, she went back to her car to frantically look for something for him to sign. She had him sign a football ... Which was perfect. :funny:

The 2 times I saw it in theaters it was hosted by Tommy. He's a screwed up person, which made it even more reason to go.

Yeah the standard editions came out on the 25th. That Limited Edition does look awesome though.

Man, if I wasn't already dropping nearly $150 on that set I'd get that steelbook. But I got the other 3 statues, hate to break the trend now.
