Pre-Teen Bikini Waxing, Supremely Disturbing or only Mildly Disturbing?

BIKINI waxes. As in wearing a piece of sexually provacative clothing and making and attempt to make it even more sexually provacative by getting their limited amount of pubic hair waxed.
Dude, c'mon. :funny:

It's called a bikini wax for the simple fact that the hair being removed is dealt with the area that can be seen when wearing a typical bikini. You don't even have to go to the beach, let alone wear a bikini, once you have it done. It's just as much an image issue as it is hygienic.

You seriously don't see the problem with a child getting a bikini wax? My wife was telling me this story and I was sort of outraged that they made bikini's for ****ing 8 year olds. I mean I'm a grown man and I know what a man thinks when he sees a woman in a ****ing bikini with a ****ing bikini wax. What he thinks is, "damn I wish she wasn't wearing that ****ing bikini."

In a world where we have full TV shows and specials based entirely around catching pedophiles don't you think that it might be wise to not make your innocent child a pedo-target?
Pedos target little children they are attracted to. The bikinis have nothing to do with it. Though I do agree that I don't see the point in making bikinis for 8 year olds when there are other suitable forms of clothing.

I seriously cannot comprehend how this could be a socially acceptable procedure to perform on normal little girls.
8 is a weird age, because girls don't typically reach puberty at that age. If there is hair down there, then it's most likely a medical issue. This isn't even big because little girls DON'T get hair, so taking them there is pointless. What are they gonna do? Bikini wax an area that has no hair in the first place?

As spideyboy said above, 12 is an acceptable age. That's when puberty hits a lot of girls, and it's not out of the realm to want to get rid of pubic hair. People are making it sexually related for no reason.

If the kid is hairy as hell...then go for it

This song reminds me of a song called "Look cute, feel cute" It was about gay men:o this is the only sort of logic I can get for doing something like this at that age.

What exactly are the hygenic implications of a bikini wax for an 8 year old who grows very little pubic hair? And why do you assume that it's simply for the altruistic reasons of hygeine or medical conditions?

Bikinis are designed as sexually provacative as possible, the removal of pubic hair can be considered sexual.

When I'm thinking of a girl with a hairless coochie wearing a bikini I'm not thinking, "Gee would she like a lolipop" (okay, not exactly thinking that at least)

I think that preparing your children for the kind of behavior that is sexual is a really bad parenting idea. Even if these kids aren't being targeted by pedophiles they are being taught at a far too young age about the meanings behind the bikini wax.

She's 8 she has no hair down there so what are they waxing?

Thats so very wrong. Children grow up way too fast these days.

Doesn't have to be hygienic. If the girl or mom doesn't want hair there then they remove it. Tell me, does it make ANY sense that the mom's motivation for teaching her daughter grooming methods is so that she knows how to look presentable to guys if she so happens to be naked in front of them? Really?

And why do you assume that it's simply for the altruistic reasons of hygeine or medical conditions?
Why do you automatically assume it's for the despicable reason of preparing a little girl to look sexually alluring?

Yes, can. Not is. A 20 year-old college girl smiling at you while she's licking a lollipop can be considered sexual. A 10 year old schoolgirl smiling at you while she's licking a lollipop....is a schoolgirl licking a lollipop. I have no clue why you'd want to compare actions of a full-grown adult to that of children.

You cannot be serious. I really wish a girl would just come in here and set things straight. Because I KNOW friends that have had bikini waxes during puberty, and it wasn't because they were preparing to get f**ked. That's a ridiculous notion and I'm questioning if you're even aware that there are girls that just don't like hair down there. Just like there are guys that get facial hair, but shave it every time it grows.

Is this so far-fetched? When you don't want hair, you cut or shave. Done. No psychoanalytic explanations necessary.

I was thinking mild at first, but after considerable deliberation I'm going to go with supreme.

Where's the poll?
