Should there be an Ant Man Prequel with a young Hank Pym in the 70s?

Nope, they can do a history of him in the movie. Pretty sure they will be only 1 Ant-Man movie and then he will be showing up in other movies

i'd be cool with it. i'd also love it if they'd go the animated route for one of these.

maybe if the flashback portion is popular enough...but i would have to think they will go in-depth about it enough where it won't be a viable spin-off idea.

I think it's an idea for the future, they may return to the original ant-man as a period piece with a new actor as a kind-of reboot.

On the other hand what I'd like to see is a new series of Netflix mini-series following on from the 'Defenders' run focussing on the early years of a few established characters. They could probably get away with different casts for the younger characters in most cases and there are stories to be told. This could included 60s / 70s Pym as Ant-man, Captain America: The War Years, and an origin story for Hulk.
