Let me get this straight. This is a TWO DISC DVD set and these are the only extras which they probably could've all fit on one disc with the movie?

Rip-off, not getting this. Color me disappointed. Not paying for a second disc with such meager extras on it.

i actually like the idea of any movie with extras to be a 2 disc think about it. with having just the movie on a DVD by itself (with optional audio tracks and subtitles that don't take up that much space), you have a much better looking and sounding DVD presentation. look at the T2 Ultimate Edition that came out a few years ago, they moved all the non movie stuff (stuff that plays while the movie is playing) to a 2nd disc and devoted the 1st disc for the movie. My T2 UE DVD is one of my best looking and sounding DVDs i have and its 7 years old . If a DVD just has like a brief behind the scene snippit (usually from when the film was in theaters and is usually only a few minutes long), and a trailer or 2 then I don't mind it being a 1 disc DVD.

and I actually own the bond girls are forever on disc, which came free with a newspaper.

There's nothing in this DVD set that justifies a second disc.

They are not getting my money.

And honestly, I declare anyone who gets this edition stupid because you freaking KNOW that Sony will release a better version eventually.

What a disappointment for one of my most favorite movies of last year.

It's not like you are paying more for this second disc. It's how much a one disc would be.

Putting anything extra on a second disc allows for a better theatrical movie. Better sound and picture quality. If you want to wait for another release that's fine, but some people actually want to own THE MOVIE and feel that extra things on a dvd are just that, extras.

Either way you are still paying for two discs, and I don't feel like paying for a second disc with a trifling amount of extras.

I've seen the movie several times in theatres already. As a film student, getting some decent special features are a big deal to me. I doubt fitting all of the extras on one disc would've comprised the picture quality much technology being what it is today and New Line releasing the extended versions of LOTR on one disc while still having decent picture and sound quality.

Sure you want the movie, but I see no point in getting it now, when a superior DVD set will just be released later down the line and people will complain about the studios taking your money. I'm simply playing it smart now, and I really just want to watch it on DVD, I can always rent it.
