What the hell is a "Water hand" good for?

I don't his super villian is the wicked witch of the west..

I mean.. I'm pretty sure that all forms of life need water.. They're not get hurt by a water punch.

I agree, aquaman isn't the best superhero, but hes still a hero. Hes not on Namors level, but hes a good character when written right.

I find that he is a pointless character because his only powers are to talk to fish (Which have a 3 second short term memory.) and strength.. A man with a water hand.. that fights against polution is just a horrible idea..

I'll stick with Namor.

They never stop harping on that. Nobody ever gets all wisecrackin' about Animal Man, because Morrison wrote him so he must be untouchable. Don't get me wrong, I love Animal Man, and Morrison's a badass writer, but I just see a double-standard here.

You know, whatever anyone says, you gotta remember, super-strength is still badass. I mean, yeah, might be mundane, but it's also pretty awesome. Pretty kickass, really.

Oh, and in your list of his powers, you forgot "magic hand that can do some wicked-cool ****."

And here I was thinking the last 20 issues or so, pre-OYL, of Aquaman were all about Sub Diego and Atlantean politics, and before that it was about Aquaman's personal journey. Huh. Weird. Amazing how two people can read the same thing and get completely different interp--waaaaait a minute, you didn't read it, did you? You're just another ****stick bashing on something you HAVEN'T EVEN READ!

Aquaman has telepathy, super strength, super speed, super endurance, heightened senses and a badass mystically enchanted hand. Before that he had the badass hook for a hand. Also, if you'll actually read both Aquaman and Namor comics, you'll find that Namor will have spent a lot more time fighting against pollution than Aquaman has, and Aquaman has primarily been a character that is written to deal with the politics beneath the sea rather than above.

the only reason why i like kyle is because he can build cool ass contructs. thats the only thing he has going for him.

Actually, he was given the name Aquaman by "the world [that] was a little too slow to put Atlantean and water together" for what appears to be an A on his belt but is really an Atlantean sound that I can't remember at the moment .

You're right, Namor needs no gimmicky name except Submariner (which is the name in his entry in Marvel.com). Does it sound incredibly like a vehicle that travels underwater? Would you like me to do the sea men joke too?up:
