Nice. That guy was my second favorite character in Blade. Glad to see he's getting work.

Just saw the trailer, too. I like it, a great deal. Chris and Dakota are a bit underrated (Camilla a bit overrated, imo)... and Djimon is the man. I like the vibe, and like the more serious take on the same concepts explored by Heroes and X-Men... and I like the fact that they have a concept for what powers are and do in the universe and stick with them instead of giving random characters secondary mutations just because they like them.
 
Now that is a great poster, that actually means something and implies something rather than just aping Force Unleashed imagery.
 
It also implies that his superhero name could be "Push." :p
 
I went to a free screening tonight. I was very bored, I'm also very cranky so I'm not sure if I can be completely objective. Don't go in expecting an action packed film, it's not. I thought it was just okay. Fanning for some reason reminded me of Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver.

But how is the action that it does have?
 
Took a look at the Cast interviews... I'm liking this more and more. Dakota Fanning is not growing up to be nearly as ugly as I thought she would be...

Okay. There was some cool sequences in a fish market in the first half, the bulk of the fighting was near the end. I think they were going for a homage to asian cinema. The soundtrack was pretty decent.

Sweet. At least there is some action to go with the plot... and the plot, was it that bad or were you that pissed?
 
Me and my buddy are gonna see this because nothing else even loks that great coming out until Watchman or Race To Witch mountain. Chris Evans gets no credit as an actor for he comes of cocky but he kinda plays the right guy who wants the center of attention and thats why i like him as an actor. Here i am like me or hate me take what ya get attitude is pretty cool.

The plot is okay, I might be a little harsh on it, you guys might love it.
It's really not my genre of choice, and I like my emoitions to manipulated be it happy, sad, scared and so on. I felt nothing for the characters well being. The final scene was pretty cool and possibly telling of a possible sequel, except for some poorly made manip. :csad:

He was good in this, it just wasn't for me.
 
does anyone think Evans has that 'leading man' quality?? or potential for it....
 
hope its good because it seems like "jumper" indirect sequel.
 
I was 'OK' with Jumper....visually it was great, I just think having Samuel Jackson as a platinum haired villain was so blatantly obvious....if the main villain had legitimate backing of the government or something I would have been more accepting
