Let's face it- those states have been pretty quiet since The Cat (now Tigra) along with Thor moved out of them( Chicago) as with Spider Woman II(now Arachne) left Denver. The only hero I can think of in the Windy City is BattleStar(Bucky II)- perhaps they're both too cold climate wise(although i doubt that either Chicago or Denver could be colder than New York)

What about Massachussetts as well?

Colorado's got the Thunderbolts. Illinois has the Spaceknights.

didn't think so... marvel will prob do a one-shot or handbook listing every states... most never going beyond that book.

If they were smart they'd do that. Something along the lines of the recent Civil War Files. People would eat that up, to see who's in their state. I know I would.

ditto... but i think most of us would be dissapointed by no-names and newly created people

Eh...Marvel's got a ton of characters. There are probably literally thousands of heroes that are still alive in the 616 that could be used. Obscure, but still usable.

i have a feeling the initiative is a way for marvel to balance all the lost mutants and killed off mutants :(

Marvel completely undid Decimation by not depowering major mutants like Wolverine, Iceman, Cyclops, Beast, etc. and repowering the others that lost their abilities like Magneto, Xavier, and Polaris have got theirs back.

No clue yet Terry, we just know Illinois reserved the name "Spaceknights". you can wiki the team, but you'll only get information on the old team.

I really hope Illinois- or more specifically Chicago, 3rd largest metropolitan area in the country and one of the 10 most influential cities in the world, gets a suitable superhero team. Hopefully these spaceknights or whoever are cool and powerful.

i hope florida gets some good ones newly made or otherwise:ninja::hyper:

I'd venture to guess that the Illinois Spaceknights are not the original ones. Probably either the guys that made up Marvel's failed relaunch several years ago (I don't remember much, only that Chris Batista did the pencils) or a completely new team altogther.
