Say you favorite show is on DVD and you've seen every season of this show, from the good ones to the bad one. Now when it's time to get the DVDs, would you get all the seasons except the bad ones or would you buy all the seasons (including the bad ones) just to have a complete collection?

Personally, I'd buy all the seasons, including the bad ones. Even the bad seasons tend to have a few gems nestled in amongst the badness.

I'm buying all the Simpsons DVDs, even though there are many turd seasons.

Buy all the good seasons. But, for me- only time this came up was for the X-Files.... I'm more of a Mulder and Scully fan than a Dogget and Scully fan, thus I just got the seasons that had Mulder and Scully.

I think X-Files would be the only one I'd completely collect. Whereas something like Buffy, which I thought had a couple of bad seasons, I'd just skip over.

Luckily most of the ones I buy have relatively short runs, like Arrested Development and The Shield (I know its still going, but it wont be on much longer)

all of them...already have all 4 seasons of both home movies and futurama...waiting on more seasons of simpsons, space ghost coast to coast and need to catch up on kids in the hall and trailer park boys.

the only exception being south park..i have the first 3 seasons and found the show got old after that...though many people really like the later stuff.
