[Punisher Rising]

My all-time favorite television program, used to scare me so bad as a kid, but now I love it. I own all seven seasons on DVD and a good number of the comics (both the reprints of the older ones and the new series). The first three seasons and Season 5 were the best IMO, while I thought Seasons 4, 6 and 7 were only average, but still had worthwhile episodes. I always wished a comic series with the likeness of the Crypt Keeper from the show had been made.

Any other TFTC fans here?

This show SCARED the crap out of me. The theme song was creepy, the Crypt Keeper looked scary, and his laugh was terrifying. However, I got older and thought Crypt Keeper was amazing because his jokes were so damn corny, you couldn't help but to die of laughter.

Oh man, the Crypt Keeper was my worst fear as a kid. Everything about him used to terrify me and I do mean everything. As I got older and watched him though, he became so lovable with how OTT he would be with his puns and his vibrant personality.

My dad used to do that laugh all the time and scare the hell out of me when I was little.

Even though I remember only so many episodes, I do remember the movies. I love Demon Knight. It's one of those movies that comes on once a year at 2 am, but I try my best to catch it. Billy Zane was such a beast demon and you can't go wrong with William Sadler. The story was so good and it actually was a little creepy. It had an early Thomas Haden Church and Jada Pinkett-Smith, too.

Demon Knight was an awesome movie, but I didn't care for Bordello Of Blood. I was always kind of letdown they never did an episode centered on the Crypt Keeper himself.

What are everyone's favorite TFTC episodes? The show had so many gems, but a few of my favorites:

The christmas episode needs to be in the top 5.

I was at a giant con a few years ago where the voice actor was a guest and he'd go over the p.a. and do announcements using the Crypt Keppers voice it was awesome.

John Kassir seems like a nice guy. I can't imagine anyone else doing the Crypt Keeper's voice.

Actually, I think the episode "Lower Berth", might qualify. A two-faced carnival performer fell in love with a cursed mummy, and it ended with the mummy bearing his child. It was the Crypt Keeper. t:

He even jokes in the epilogue that the mummy was his "mommy".

I loved the one with Christopher reeve and wife on the show owned a failing dinner so they started killing and cooking people to save the business

Yeah he really is a very nice guy and is amazing with the fans. If you get the chance to meet him, do it.

I have yet to go to any convention, but hopefully when I do go Kassir will be there. His laugh for the Crypt Keeper even used to creep me out majorly.
