Question on Batman Beyond

I'm planning on watching all of Batman Beyond for the first time soon, and I'm just wondering; how does the Return of the Joker movie fit in with the viewing order? Is it supposed to come in between certain seasons, after certain episodes, or does it not matter when I watch it? I just want to avoid having some of the series spoiled if I watch Return of the Joker too early.

Return of the Joker came out in December 12th, 2000. This was three days after the episode "Betrayl" from Season 3 was shown on television. The next episode that aired after that was "Curse of the Kobra (Part 1)" which aired in February 3rd, 2001. All what we know (from the beginning of the film) is Terry was already Batman and working for Bruce Wayne. You could watch it after the first few episodes (of the first season) of Batman Beyond without any issues.
