When they're born, Leia baby has her eyes open, whislt Lukes are closed. Maybe the force increases her memory of the emotional event. Whilst Luke is strong in the force, he had no visual memory to remember.

As for Rogue not flying, I can't believe that in a comic orientated board, anyone can ask this question...
