R.I.P. Harvey Pekar

For godsake! Lebron just left. No god has to take Harvey! What the hell? Poor Cleveland.:csad:

I never read his book, but loved the movie.

Sad to hear of his departure

I wonder if they're going to do a special comic for him

Wow, that's some sad news. RIP Harvey.

I wonder if David Letterman will make any kind of mention of Harvey or do anything for him, considering that Harvey was probably one of his most entertaining guests right next to Howard Stern.

Dayum. The past few years really has been blow after blow after blow when it comes to "celebrity" deaths.

Who's next? Stan Lee? Christopher Nolan?

Loud, cranky Jews such as myself have lost an icon :(

I'm Surprised the main page of SHH! did not make mention of this.

For shame :nono:

I put Harvey Pekar up there with Alan Moore. He truly redefined the comic book medium...of course with the help of Krumb

Well, I guess it's probably because Harvey didn't write "superhero" comics.

I agree, however, he deserves the mention.

It reminds me of when Michael Jackson died and around the same time Les Paul died and it seemed no one noticed. I mean Les Paul invented the freakin' electric guitar!
