I really hope this turns out to be a good movie, the premise is good enough and the short was cool, so I hope nothing gets lost in translation so to speak.

The disadvantage it has to D9 is that at least South Africans speak English, if people learn they have to read subtitles in a movie it usually turns them off unless they are die hard movie lovers like us.

Actually I'd say that was Cloverfield.

Meh...Cloverfield was very forgettable and didn't really do anything interesting with its story beside yuppies going "OH MY GAWD!! DID YOU SEE THAT!!! OH MY GAWD!!!!"
