She's also a porn actor?

I assume that takes a lot of time.

(t'was a joke, I don't know if you're male or female, just going off your custom title >.<)

SM1 : 9/10
SM2 : 10/10
SM3 : 7/10
ASM : 8/10

Though I find ASM to have better leads than SM1, the destruction of connors' character, the editing, and the big-bad plan he had sucked, so I edge SM1 to be a bit better of a SM movie. Though I will say, if you mixed Tobey's Peter with Garfield's Spidey, we'd be perfect for that.

I'd take it one step farther and say if you mixed SM1's plot, with the cast abd dialogue of TASM, you'd have a pitch perfect Spider-Man movie.

If you mix Superman and Batman you get Spider-man.

..wait.. this isn't a mixing thread..

Eh, SM1's great strength was its plot structure.

Which was really STM's plot structure. :I

Eh, it really hasn't aged well.

The greatest thing that STM contributed to the genre was the origin plot structure that's since been reused in SM1, BB, IM, FF, etc.

I still think it's the epitome of the superhero genre.

Sure, you have to keep in mind it was made in 1977 (something you should do with every movie) and that nothing else superhero-related was done before so it really opened the way. Well, actually The Incredible Hulk TV pilot was done in 1977 and was more serious than STM (or 99% of superhero movies ever made) but it was released while STM was being shot.

I liked Superman Returns a lot more than most.

And actually, the Donner Cut of Superman II is really good for a really dated movie.

But yeah, I never cared for any of the original Superman movies at all. But to deny their legacy would be idiocy.

Don't care for them.

If you don't care about them, it's still idiocy. :o

Dammit. It's no fun when you like it.

1: Spider-Man 2
2: Tie between Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man
3: The pilot of that live action show starring Nicholas Hammond
4: Spider-Man 3

Hahaha. I think I see what I believe you did there.

I'm still a fan of the TV series. I enjoy the second episode (two-parter, called "Deadly Dust" aka "Spider-man Strikes Back") the better.
