1. Captain America The Winter Soldier
Made me like Cap a whole heck of a lot more than after seeing Cap 1 (thought it was boring) and Avengers (wasn't impressed with the character in that film either). TWS showed a more human side to Cap and the stubborn side of him when it comes to morality that I appreciate the comic version of the character for. Plus it did a lot of cool world building with the best plot twist in any MCU movie to date.
2. Ant-Man
Good, solid fun. Lang was likable and his daughter didn't irritate me as child actors typically do. Made me laugh more than Guardians and I liked the return to the classic sole-hero focus.
3. Guardians of the Galaxy
Overhyped in my opinion. Pratt was good, but I was thinking he'd be an extension of Parks and Rec Andy. He wasn't, and that disappointed me to be honest (which weirdly wasn't an issue in Jurassic World for me). As for the rest of the cast, Rocket/Groot dynamic was fun, but Gamora, Drax, and Ronan were all incredibly dull characters in my opinion. Didn't buy Pratt and Saldana's romance at all. The conclusion of the movie was anticlimactic to me.
4. Age of Ultron
Begrudgingly, because I really want to put it on the bottom for how disappointed that it made me. The whole thing felt super bloated, Ultron was not only misrepresented, but over simplified. The best part about the character is his paradoxical motivations that he struggles with until he molds it into something that actually makes good sense and gives him psychological depth (in the comics). In the movie he's all "nah, I'm going to be evil just cause. Also, I browsed Reddit for a trillionth of a second and decided that humanity needs to go".
I'll come clean with the fact that the best twists of the movie were spoiled for me such as Hulk's decision to disappear, Vision picking up Thor's hammer, and Quicksilver's death, but I'm not 100% sure most of them would have excited me anyway. The Vision one would have been great, but the other two were weak compared to the Winter Soldier twist.
5. Iron Man 3
6. Thor The Dark World
The last two I disliked for most of the same reasons as everyone else. IM came out over Thor for me due to the titular characters in question. I'm not a Thor fan by any stretch and will be skipping Ragnorok regardless of whatever juicy tidbits it'll drop in the way of foreshadowing future movies.
