1) 2008: The Dark Knight + Iron Man
2) 2012: The Avengers + TDK Rises
3) 2017: Wonder Woman + Homecoming
4) 2014: Winter Soldier + GOTG
5) 2016: BvS + Civil War

Any objections or alternate suggestions?

DoFP should be in 2014 instead of TWS which came out in spring. BvS was in March too and it sucked hard so 2016 shouldn't be here. 2015 had AoU and Ant-Man which were both solid at least so it should be included.

Well, for me the season isn't important, as our seasons are opposite to the Northern Hemisphere (where I suspect the OP originates).

Having said that, I'll go with 2008, as IMO TDK and IM are the best two films of the bunch, followed closely by 2014 with TWS and GOTG.

I haven't seen Homecoming yet, just hasn't been a priority - so who knows my opinion may change.

Edit: Meaning, that shouldn't it be Civil War with Doctor Strange or Deadpool?

That one is not solid, and both movies came out in spring, so you might as well count Deadpool and Doctor Strange.

2008 will always be my number 1 because it gave us TDK. Having Iron Man and the beginning of the MCU in the same summer was the icing on the cake.
