Frankenweenie (1984)

That's a short film. If we count that we're gonna have to count Vincent as well.

EDIT:

Oh, and The World of Stainboy are a collection of short Internet videos. Next time don't just copy and paste stuff from IMDb.

I don't feel much like rating them all, but I really like all of them except Chocolate Factory and Wonderland. I thought Wonderland was boarder line garbage. I was actually excited to watch it. Depp was the only good part in both.

The rest however, are great. I love his Batman movies the most, even more than Nolan's. I have not seen Corpse Bride yet though.

Don't feel like rating them either. But did someone in this thread really just rate Pee Wee's Big Adventure a 5/10:wow:

Haven't seen Big Fish, Ed Wood, or Pee Wee's Big Adventure yet. But I pretty much love all of Burton's movies, but Mars Attacks and Planet of the Apes were kinda meh.

You need to see these ASAP. Ed Wood is a near-masterpiece and Big Fish is also great. Pee Wee is not quite great but VERY good. I consider anything at 8 or higher to be "great." I gave it a 7.5, so it's definitely close to greatness for me.

I will certainly try, there are so many movies I have not seen that will make people's jaws drop simply because I have not seen it.....I spent much of life wasting time with video games. :p Good thing i'm into better things now.

I actually think Sweeney Todd is Burton's masterpiece.

Ah, that was pure Burton from head to toe. Of copurse nit is a Burton movie.

El Pay, you don't like Beetljuice :wow:

I actually think Sweeney Todd is Burton's masterpiece.

Come to think of it....that as well as Nightmare Before Christmas and Batman are arguably his masterpieces. I think his Batman films are superior to the Nolan films, I do like the Nolan films though. And Nightmare is IMO one of the best animated films of all time, stop motion can be great when used right.

1) Batman 10/10
2) Beetlejuice 10/10
3) Pee Wee's Big Adventure 10/10

His 80's movies were perfect.

I don't really care much for anything he did after the 80's.

You haven't seen Ed Wood. Gotta see that one first before declaring what his masterpiece is. :oldrazz:

I actually think Sweeney Todd is Burton's masterpiece.

I agree in a sort of way but the thing is, Sweeney Todd is a masterpiece because of Sondheim not because of Burton. If you specifically take away Sondheim's music you're but left with Johnny Depp and Tim Burton's nice designs.

It's like saying Thriller is John Landis' masterpiece.
