I thought 3 and 4 were better than returns. And let me make it clear. 4 is a bad movie with some good gems. But I liked the storyline better and my mind goes blank when Lenny or any of the camp. I see the story as it was intended. I actually think if it had been a Warner's produced pic and not Golan-Globus, we would have had a great movie.

I'm not gonna say that Superman IV was better than Returns. It wasn't! But, I always sort of enjoyed the film to a certain degree because I saw the intend. The excution was bad, but the intend was good.

Supergirl (1984) Helen was perfect. The plot stunk. They gave us a female version of lex and a female version of Otis. I hate when writers cant do something original.

1.STM (Can't top this one. Easily the best ever)
2.Superman II: The Donner Cut (Made a good movie even better!)
3.Superman II (A bit campy, but well done overall)
4.Superman III (It was patchy, but still somewhat fun)
5.Superman IV (Reeve is always a pleasure, but overall quite awful)
6.Superman Returns (Technically very good. Supes/fans disrespected)
7.Supergirl (A hideous monstrosity. Should never have been filmed)

All the smallville parts of Superman 3. They're very well acted and charming. Its' a shame that people are blinded to the good in Supes 3 because of the gus gorman nonsense, but there was plenty to be had.

Supergirl. It's a fun piece of crap. Slater's the only reason to watch it.

Superman Returns, dead last. I wanted to love this since I loved singer's previous work. And you'll just have to believe me since that's all I can do is say it. Now...It's up there with the Legend of Zorro to me, now and forever. And add some passion of the christ to that too, neither of which I liked. It's also a testament to unoriginality of hollywood. Though i'll say some of the cgi looks really good and it has its moments but I can't say I care to see more of this mangled mess of STM and Jesus stuff thrown up on screen in such a careless and blunt fashion that begs the viewer "think that I'm cool and deep!" It shouldn't be so desperate. It's Superman. Try again.

After viewing SII: The Donner Cut I think of STM and SII: TDC as 1 story told in 2 parts so they top the list tied at 1.

I'm not gonna lie! When I was a kid I used to LOVE this movie! I think when I was a kid I liked this movie more than the others. But, now I look at it and realize what a piece of crap it is.

True! But, I really don't "love" this movie anymore. I thinks its "fun" like you say but there's no love anymore. You know...its like Power Rangers! Yeah, I used to love that s--t when I was younger but now I'm embarrased to say that I even used to watch that.
