For me,

Justice League by a big margin
Wonder Woman
Logan
Spider-Man: Homecoming

I still haven't seen GoTG (though, I'll probably get around to it soon) or Thor: The Dark World, so my anticipation on those is negligible.

1. Justice League - Aquaman, Cyborg, New Gods, Mother Boxes, big-screen Flash, more Trinity, and who knows what else. I'm excited to see all this, even if I'm not expecting a great film.

2. Thor: Ragnarok - Hulk and Thor on other planets? Yes please.

3. Wonder Woman - Some of the visuals and casting looks underwhelming, but the movie looks charming at its core. A potential classic in the making.

4. Logan - Nice trailer. Doesn't quite enough new going on to be higher on the list.

5. Guardians 2 - I liked the first one well enough, but I don't know enough of the source material to be excited, nor do I know what the pitch is for the sequel. I'm also one of the rare few who finds Baby Groot to be kinda cheesy.

6. Spider-Man Homecoming - I'm all Spidey'd out. Mysterio or something different like that might have made me more excited. I also find teenagers pretty annoying, especially today.

Update after seeing the Guardians 2 trailer:

1. Justice League
2. Thor: Ragnarok
3. Guardians 2
4. Wonder Woman
5. Logan
6. Spider-Man Homecoming

Baby Groot still annoys me, but I'm reminded me how hilarious Bautista's Drax is, and I want to see more of him.

How in the world is Thor: Ragnarok leading? My goodness. lol

I guess people (and that includes me) are just that thirsty for an actually good Thor movie. :hehe:

Can't help but notice that you seem to have no issue openly talking about your lack of soul. You're brave. :o

If Hulk was not in Thor: Ragnarok, I don't think I would be excited for this movie all that much. But having a Thor/Hulk buddy film sounds so exciting. And yeah, I'm thirsty for a GOOD Thor movie, for once. The first film was fine, the second was ehh, and this one needs to be on the level of The Winter Soldier to really get the franchise a name for itself.

I would say that Spider-Man: Homecoming is in the position of Batman Begins, where it needs to revive the character on film and redeem itself. The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming is where the character can get to billion dollar Avengers hype status.

Pretty much standard

GotG2
Thor 3
Spiderman

Logan

WW
JL

Thor leading just goes to show the value of a good franchise even if it's not most craved at the moment.

Ragnarok leading isn't that surprising to me. I think it's a sleeping giant. Unfortunately it has JL close by.

1) Homecoming
2) Ragnarok
3) Guardians Vol. 2 and Logan
4) Wonder Woman
5) JL

Yep.

Is it honestly that surprising that Ragnarok is leading? It's the big event movie lead in to Infinity War, it's being directed by one of the most talented and unique directors on the planet, it (arguably) has the most impressive cast ever assembled for a CBM, it (seemingly) has Thor finally being given the attention and respect he deserves, it has the Hulk in battle armor, it has the first major female villain in the MCU (played by Cate Blanchett no less), it has friggin Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, it has the introduction of a pretty major female hero (Valkyrie), it has the return of Loki, and we now know it also has Doctor Strange in some capacity. Not to mention the art released so far is sweet... I could go on.

If Ragnarok ends up being anywhere close to as good as it sounds on paper right now, it could definitely be the surprise sleeper hit of next year.

Baby Groot still annoys me

I'm sorry to be bearer of bad news, but Cate is not the one who gets the honor to play the first major female MCU villain... that would be Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha in GotG 2. :hehe:

Agree with everything else you said, though.

You're right of course, I always forget that Debicki is in GotG 2 (even though I'm somewhat of a fan) because she so rarely gets mentioned in press about the film and she hasn't been featured in either of the teasers so far.

My general point still stands though, Cate Blanchett is in Thor: Ragnarok, therefore it's potential for awesomeness is increased tenfold. :gngl:

Cate can definitely be added to the list of Boseman, Cumberbatch, Larson, Ruffalo, etc. as an "outstanding" actor. She's more in the role of someone who may just be in for one movie though as opposed to the others.

I know you can't stand her... :o

I don't think it can be denied at this stage that the MCU by far attract the most impressive casts in the CBM arena.

You know me so well, InCali. :sly:

Thor Ragnarok is the most MCU movie i've been anticating

Not only this is perhaps the last Chris Hemsworth solo movie as Thor but also the third Thor movie...
while i love the previous 2 Thor movies, i can't help but thinking that there is still a lot of potential from the rich Thor mythology that has yet to be adapted...

I recently read Thor by Jason Aaron and i left thinking after i read that book..."Why the movie Thor can't have the same scale in terms of story like this one?"
That last scene in Godbutcher story where Thor sucked the dark energy from Gorr is perhaps the most heroic thing i ever seen from Thor in any medium. That kind of heroic act is what I really want to be translated into MCU Thor.

So, i have high hopes for Thor Ragnarok as my most anticipated movie...

I think that Thor 1 was okay. A solid movie based on a lore that I have little interest in. Thor: The Dark World was barely passable, and I'd rank it lower than maybe The Incredible Hulk.
