^I don't think that sPoils anything, does it?

I don't really care for it. TAS was a classic that anybody who grew up in the 90s will instantly join you in humming. Evo was crazy energetic remix of that one. W&TXM has a pretty generic, forgettable instrumental set to a stylized little action sequence disPlaying the characters fighting off MRD agents and sentinels. It reminded me of the narrative theme approach to BTAS and, more obscurely, the original saturday morning Sonic the Hedgehog from the 90s. Though not nearly as memorable as either.

What's your take?

7/10...Not as cool as I hoped it to be...And no memorable beat or anything...But it's alright...I guess!

I like it. I think it sets up the show well with some action, everyone in the core cast getting in a move, and I like the instrumental theme. In a way it sets up a "story" in a few seconds.

Nothing will ever be as iconic as that 90's theme, but I have no complaints about the intro.

I don't think the opening sequence is bad so much as I think it's forgettable. It's a bit ho-hum, lacking excitement. It works, but it could be better.

i couldnt agree with u more, this intro is good but hopefully next seasons will be better ,but yea no complaints here

For the current season, I think the intro is ok since the X-men have disbanded and the focus is on bringing them back together. But for the next season, I really hope it’s changed.

I LOVE IT!

I just love everything about it. I mean c'mon, they even threw Marrow in the opening, I'd HAVE to love it!

I really like the quality of animation in the opening sequence, although I don't like how at the end it reverts to the poster image of them all standing there.

Nothing will top the 90's series intro :D

I agree with everything above. It gets the job done, couldve been better, but its not that bad.

I think is really slow, and isn't exciting... it seems one episode in fact, and not the intro of a show.

don't like the music either for an intro...

would have preffered something faster, both images and music.

very very bad. It just seems like a title plate rather than an opening sequence. When I first saw it I thought it was just part of the episode until the title came up

everyone now...na na na na na...

it's okay, nothing too spectacular, but at least there's no annoying song to get stuck in my head

I think the score is perfect. A great mix between Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness, Kingdom Hearts, and the theme of X-Men The Last Stand.

It's okay. It's not as good as the 90's intro(as many have stated) but I like the visuals more than evolution though evolution had an slightly better song I feel.

Dude, I WANT an annoying song stuck in my head.

sPectacular, sPectacular...

Yeah, that song is damn catchy. :)

Now if you want a Marvel cartoon show that I think walks on water, it's SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN.

It misses Colossus so i dont like
lol

That's very true. Naturally I have been a little miffed that this is the third X-Men cartoon to date to drop the ball and the ol' Russkie.

Ohh that's a cool opening. Not as awesome as the 90s, but this is a new time, so it works.

Love the part of Wolverine running up the arm of the Sentinel...At least we'll get some more IceMan, and I'm hoping he's better than the Evolution version.:woot:

I thought his Ice-Form looked better in Evolution. I never cared for his character much anyway.

The 90's X-MEN intro is iconic, but was a product of it's time. By today's standards, it is a bit cheesy. That said, it is fondly recalled by a generation, myself included. The theme is so iconic that even X-Men Evolution used it as music for one episode.

This is the first cartoon besides SPIDER-MAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS were Iceman was part of the main cast for a team show. That said, aside for being an energetic hero, his characterization has been a bit one-note.

I thought his Ice-Form looked better in Evolution. I never cared for his character much anyway.

His Evolution ice-form seemed a bit bland. I kind of prefer the one he has here.

That said, of course, nothing will top his John Romita Sr. inspired character model from AMAZING FRIENDS.

I love the visuals as well as the scoring, though neither are very memorable. And I really don't think it works well as an opening. It seems more like an episode setup scene that you'd see before the opening.

It feels like too much of an advertisement that only fits a few episodes rather than a theme for the series in general..Hopefully next season they change it.

How do you think us Psylocke fans feel?! :( :(
