Remove Doc Ock's part from it and I'd rate it a 5 or 6. But his bit at the end bumped it to 8 for me.

For a teaser, it was glorious. We know what they’re saving for the full trailer.

The Doc Ock part made it a 10 for me. I had forgotten he was going to be there so it was a fun surprise.

I'm surprised how much Strange was in the trailer.

I was hoping we would see the villains like every one of them in the teaser, but it was alright. An eight.

So brand new day + Strange being an epic dumba** lol

and why are all the magic users breaking the multiverse all at the same time??

I WANTED TO SEEE ALL THE PEOPLE!!!!

but I guess it was good that didn't happened, so.

9/10

I went 7. It's starting to dawn on me how uninvested I am in the Holland universe and his supporting cast. Other than that, it still makes me look forward to the film and the trailer itself is pretty awesome, but as I said in the General thread, there are things that are a bit of red flags.

First of all, I don't buy that Strange would screw around with a spell that powerful so easily for Peter. Second, I don't know I like the implication that he messes up the spell. I sincerely hope it wasn't that he messed up the spell but rather that in the film something else screwed it up (maybe the branching timelines in Loki). I also am getting sick and tired of the Iron Spider suit. I really don't want to see it anymore. I just want Peter using suits he makes and stop relying on Stark tech.

The positives though are big positives. I like that his identity being revealed in FFH is not a throwaway but a major catalyst for the events of this film. I like the strong hints to Electro, with yellow electricity to boot. I like the pumpkin bomb and cackle tease of Norman. Cute callback of the train which I think is a reference to the train scene in SM2. Of course finally Molina, what can you say. Looks just like he did.

I'm excited and cautiously optimistic.

I went 7.

It was... Fine.

But it was pretty thin and didn't show the hard core fans anything we didn't already know in some form after all this time.

Yes, seeing Molina and hearing Dafoe's voice were fun and what we want to see and the Molina stinger was perfect but overall...

Servicable as a trailer.

There was some momentum with the lost secret identity stuff then the absent minded professor strange part kills it completely.

I guess the Raimi easter eggs are supposed to be the prime attraction but I'm not a Raimi fan so that falls flat too.

I would've prefered Kraven to this tbh.

This was very much a teaser. I give it a 7. Sony's playing their cards close to the vest with this movie. They know people are aching to see the good stuff and theyre showing restraint which i suppose is good.

I fee like ACTUALLY showing Dafoe Goblin and Doc Ock together at the end wouldve packed much more of a wallop IMO.

7 out of 10. Marvel continuing the recent trend of underwhelming teasers.
Needless to say it's just the first look. They kind of went low-key with this teaser, the 2nd/official trailer will be the one to go all-in and really drop a ton of surprises and the really good stuff.

10/10

It did exactly what a teaser trailer should do, teased me, made me want to see & know more.

7/10. MCU Spider trailers were all bland and uninspiring for me (as the majority of MCU trailers), this one is no different. Buuuuut, I liked the more serious tone of the story, and, of course, Goblin's bombs and Dock Ock snippet elevate it so much.

Not great. The Dafoe/Molina bits were cool but not enough to make it an amazing teaser trailer. The premise is still lame and MCU Spidey still very annoying.

5/10

without Dock Ock and the Goblin laugh and bomb, I'd rate it about a 5, but with those elements, easily an 8. The Raimi verse element of this movie is what's got me. I think it's pretty clear the Raimi element is the selling point for me and many others.

Been living under a rock for this film so the trailer was all sorts of confusing for me lol, but yeah the ending certainly has me hooked in now, I'll give it that. I have had some issues with MCU Spidey throughout and his films while enjoyable have nearly really landed with me in a meaningful way so hopefully this one will be his high point for me.
