Seriously? This is a goddamn joke. The only 2 major movies that deserve their Worst Picture nominees were Holmes and Watson and Gotti. Happytime Murders was far too easy of a target (Having seen it recently, it was "eh" at worst; FAR from Worst of 2018 material). I'm shocked they didn't go after Fifty Shades Freed, Slender Man (Which got one small acting nominee) or Nutcracker. Seriously, why didn't Keira Knightly get nominated for Worst Actress for that movie? And don't get me started on all those nominations for that Trump documentary by that jerk-off who directed that misleading and full-of-inaccuracies "Hillary's America" documentary. I WILL say I'm glad they chose not to nominate it for Worst Picture this time unlike that last documentary. Again, another far too easy target; Dinesh D'Souzza's a hack who no one would know off if not for the Razzies.


But enough about my take. What do you guys think?

Again, that should've gone to Knightly. EVERYONE hated her acting in Nutcracker.

Also, never saw Gotti, so I dunno what that's about or why people hate it. Care to explain?

I can't speak to the Nutcracker as I didn't see it, so I'll take your word for it.

I don't even know where to start with Gotti. The characters are not convincing (physically - the make-up is terrible - or performance-wise), incoherent narrative framing devices and structure, anvillicious music choices, Kelly Preston being ridiculous, the movie's weird endorsement of Gotti at the end...it's just the stuff bad movie legends are made of.

I'm actually surprised that they chose mostly genuinely bad movies this time ('Happytime Murders' is the entertaining level of bad, 'Winchester' I'd argue doesn't deserve to be on there, and yes there were many films that were worse - but most of the ones they listed genuinely were (some weren't, but more nailed down this time than previous times)). This is coming from someone who's seen about 162 of 2018's films now.

BTW - I looovvveee this (the below), so many conservative tears are going to be triggered online in 3, 2, 1....

Just be glad they weren't spiteful and nominated him for Fantastic Beasts. Even though he was excellent in it. The Razzies LOVE to hold grudges, just ask Affleck and Stallone.
