Iron Man 2 RDJ possible Thor appearance

Saw a few interviews with RDJ the week of Iron Man 2's release (paticularly David Letterman and the press conf) and noticed he seemed to be sporting his Tony Stark hair and goatee. Principal photography would of ended for IM ended several months back. The only reason I can see for him keeping his Tony Stark look would be a possible cameo in Thor which is still filming or in Capatain America which is about to start filming.

Any thoughts?

That seems possible, I wouldn't doubt it or maybe he just really loves the look. I'd sport that look all the time if I were him lol.

very insightful... he wrapped the Todd Phillips comedy Due Date recently... doubtful he would roll with the T.S. look for that one. I think you may be onto something.

I had thought he had just finished filming another film but I wasn't positive and didn't know the name of the film.

I have to say as cool as the cameo of thor's hammer was I prefer actual character cameos.

RDJ tends to like to get into character for the press...so it would be very normal for him to get back into the character of Tony Stark for the interviews promoting the movie.

Chances are he'll be in 'Thor' or 'Captain America', they need to explain how he actually becomes a member of the Avengers still.

I'm not sure about Thor, but I imagine he'll be in CA:TFA, with Fury at the end.

I noticed that as well. I couldn't think of why he would be sporting the TS look other than promoting the film of he really liked it. But I think you are onto something here! He may have cameo's in one if not both of these upcoming films!

I can only hope thats why he's still got his look going on, but cant blame him, if you can pull the goatee off its makes you feel really awesome.

It never crossed my mind why he would be keeping it, but that sounds very reasonable. It'd be awesome to see him in the ending of Thor or Captain America.

But he definitely looks cool with the goatee/beard thing he's got going on.

I seriously hope they keep his cameo (if there is one) out of the trailers. Everyone was ticked that they showed his entire Incredible Hulk scene early. Thor will do just fine at the box office without IM's coattails. Leave a buzz for the fans.

I agree that Tony shouldn't be shown in the trailers if indeed he has a cameo.
However for the end of a trailer I love Thor to be looking at somebody, we have a close up of Thor's face and he just says 'Tony Stark' is a distrusting fashion.

That would be pretty cool to see...

maybe stark will be on tv in the background of a scene or something. maybe while portman is in a diner or something or hospital. i mean stark is a big story in the marvel universe, so he must be on the news like all the time.
