My speakers have this awful reverb effect coming out of them. It's not an echo. It sounds like a really bad reverberation. Anyone have any ideas?

Your speakers are fooked or you have too much treble.

Test it with headphones see if it does the same, or plug an mp3/cd player into your speakers see if its defo them

It only does it when I play a CD, If i rip the music off and then play it back, the reverb isn't there.

See now you didnt say that did you!! Details! Could be a number of things like your Cd/roms fooked or the software you use is ****.

Either way quick sound test goto START RUN and type in DxDiag then goto the sound tab and test your sound
