I fear some will make it their goal to lure this guy and the other 8 of them out individually so they can make a headline.

Shouldn't be hard since they broadcasted where he changes. Someone knows.

Well....at least he has a costume. And made it to CNN. lol.

His costume actually looks better than the Kick Ass costume.

If they're doing the sh gig for real, they're going to get themselves seriously hurt, possibly killed, lot of guns over there right? More guns than bulletproof superpowers I imagine.
If they are not serious, then they are just kids playing dress up, who haven't got a clue what they're talking about or messing with.

edit: First thing a crook is going to do to that mask is pull it over his eyes, that has to be one of the dumbest things you can do, put risk to your eyesight. These guys don't know what they are doing.
If you want to fight crime and disguise yourself, just wear a fake moustache, prosthetic chin, crap like that, or better still get one of those life like rubber masks and only wear it on the bottom half of your face, nowhere near your eyes.

Also, going on the news? Along with the stupid mask, this suggests they are just attention seekers, as Rorschach said in the movie WM, 'I'm not in it for the ink.'
The best way to be effective way is for folk not to know you are out there.

They are serious. And they wear bulletproof vests and claim to have military/mma backgrounds. But yeah I agree, one or more of them will die sooner or later ............ there's no happy endings in real life.

I don't think it does, in actual fact, it's the little things that give it away as being more horrible, the eyes are stupid, and aesthetically, it looks like something out of a bad early 90s sh tv show. It look terrible, the Ka costume looks better, not as pretentious looking.
At least the KA costume had some room around the eyes, and of course that is fiction, if KA was to exist in real life, and be as effective as he was in the books, he would not wear that costume, ie one that was practically stupid, like this guy.

They don't know what they are talking about. They have no first hand experience of crime fighting, and it shows.

Cool idea. Not so cool reality. Unless they are highly trained, like hiiiiiiggghhhly... And even then, that's risky. Oh well, their choice. Gotta live with the consequences.

yea...I think the chances of this not ending well are quite high

They may soon spread to all over Washington.

...is this a joke?

Give your friend a marker and ask him to try and draw on you with it, moving at half speed/power. Try to prevent him from doing so.

Check how much ink is on your body afterwards. Now imagine he was moving at full speed/power, had a knife instead of a marker, and wasn't your friend.

Sounds like a good way for a neighborhood watch to boost civic moral, to me. As for him getting killed, it sounds like he's more heavily armored than the average patrol officer. Not sure how much direct effect it will have on crime rates, probably not much, but I can respect this, honestly.

And as for They're gonna get killed eventually," I've been hearing about these super hero themes neighborhood watches for nigh on five years now, and I haven't heard a single story of anyone from them dying.

By all means, enlighten us with fooatge of them in combat.

That still of the guy has enough information to tell you that they think this is a schoolyard game.
Even apart from the risks of someone pulling the mask down over your eyes, look again at the mask design, the guy's peripheral vision is blocked, the mask protrudes over the eyes.

I actually own that same mask (you can see it in my display picture in blue), he can't turn his head as quick as he should if he's in a fight. And his vision sucks. Trust me.

I love real life superheroes! :yay: I hope this guy knows what he's doing so he doesn't get killed.

It would be fun to live in Seattle I would be a superbad guy.
