So you know the new craze some lunatics are taking up of being real life superheros? Well apparently a documentary is being made about it. I think this is one of the clips from it.

lol, so lets get this straight. He saw some guys, they walked in his general direction, he hid, then he called the cops. Great going, *******, thats some great crime solving there.

I also like Mr. Silent's advice on humor.

^heh . . . they're pry the same guy and shyt :D

^you know you wanna be a real life superhero, KD

ok, ok, ok . . . last one; I bet none of these real life superheroes have any stories about heroically getting laid :D

I'd have to know what the police found.

so were the guys really going to beat him up or did the "superhero" call the cops for nothing and basically accused the group of guys of being up to no good? How is that being a superhero? Anyone could call the cops. What a ******.

Haha, yeah he just wasted the cops time entirely. I love it. At no point did the guys behave in a threatening manner towards him.

Whats he gonna do next? Call the cops and say he doesn't like the look of the young black fellas talking outside the shop?

It's so funny how someone like me or jag, who are legitimately fit individuals who *may* be able bodied enough to undertake something of this manner, never would.

^well that's why these scrubs have no choice but to be men about it :o

Actually I have a fairly reasonable explanation for why me or jag (or someone like us) wouldn't do this. When your physically weaker, strong people look like Gods and you position causes you to have a very skewed view on the limitations of the human body. Couple that with an overly obsessed comic book fetish, lack of a social life and a unrealistic view of things and BAM you have a real life superhero.

Okay, so a group of stalkers wearing masks walk around a city and call the police? Then hide in a corner and avoid the second major rules of Superheroism: A Major and epic fight.

What losers, I can see JAL doing this.

So they basicly stalk people at all hours of the night then phoning the police when Danger is near or if a group of business men have a meeting late at night.

Yeah, ya know...so the cops can focus their attention away from catching the rapists, murderers and robbers. Brillant.

So I added in Mr Silent's video

"I have another phrase about humor

...tis better to be thought a fool than to prove it"

And whoever owned the video deleted the post and locked the vid to comments.. Wow, sensitive much?

Now, maybe if the Real life superheroes went after the people taking our children, or raping people, or gang violence, or IDK actual crime then I'd welcome them as heroes, as of now seeing people walking the street putting on a mask then hiding in corners is the complete opposite of Heroism its cowardice. There is a philosophy to heroism its not for everyone and its surely not for losers and attention craving ass-clowns like these.

Hard-wire, what the hell kind of name is that anyway? Is he moonlighting as a Porno star/Cableman?

Actually I really don't want people beating up criminals either, not actively at least. Cops make mistakes, but we have a Justice System in place to try to minimize and prevent undo loss of innocent life. People going outside the law to try to accomplish that which falls under it only hamper investigations, undermine the rights of citizens and create more crime than they prevent. Vigilantism and "heroism" doesn't help in any way, shape or form. Aside from this it's the most flamboyant and impractical solution to crime prevention.

I cant wait for some real life super villains to pop up...you know, just some nut case who hears about these guys, finds out who one of them is, then kills his brother or something just to "get to him." Maybe then these people will grow the f**k up.

I will be there Moraity!

When it comes to crimes being commited, theres a reality check that comes into play. Being a security guard at our casino, we have to break up fights and detain people for commiting crimes until the police arrive. The first thought that springs to mind is "Good, we have this guy handcuffed for assaulting a security guard...now when the police show up, he'll be going to jail." ....no, thats not how it works. We fill out witness statements while the patron who assaulted the guard goes free. The statements get turned over to the prosecuting attorny and its up to him to issue a warrant. Luckily for us, we have surveillance footage to back our stories up.

But if your running around town detaining criminals, your gonna need more than just your word against his. Not to mention the fact that police would be keeping a VERY close eye on you, because your basically looking for trouble.

The only real life super hero I like is Angle Grinder Man.

I forget if he's from London, but he goes around a town in Britain with an angle grinder and cuts off the wheel clamps the police put on cars if they committed a violation

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about these guys. So far, they don't seem to be doing much of anything, good or bad, so I'm kind of indifferent. But I am curious to see how it turns out.
