1 reason why i continue to read spider-man: he's my fave.
As fanboy as that is, whenever i leave/ consider leaving spider-man's books i always end up coming back and catch up on alllll the bad stories and alllll the good ones. I know its fanboy of me to say "stick with it" but i hate seeing people coming up with reasons to drop his titles. After all we're on a superhero board because we love superheroes!
I want to be positive and honestly believe Civil War will end with spider-man having a stronger fanbase than ever, with a stronger character than ever. Maybe you can come up with reasons to stick with the book in contrast to 'top 10 reasons i stopped reading spiderman', which has become quite popular.
I think when Pete switches sides (which he WILL, if all the not-so-subtle hints are to be believed) in the civil war, he'll kick some iron man ass. Reading Amazing Spider-Man 533 already gives support to this. He expresses his anger at Tony for taking the "boss" thing too far and issues a warning to him That's good stuff.
Sensational Spider-Man 28 is similarly good. If al the unmasking issues go this well then that faux pas becomes an inspired choice. Sure, it won't last forever but if the stories are good then you'll be enjoying the ride.
Please try to keep this thread for reasons to keep reading Spider-Man, there's already a thread to drop it! If noone posts then either you guys don't like me (a distinct possibility ) or maybe spider-man's fanbase is doomed *cries*
