Ooo, really diggin' that Adams Family recast! Guillermo Del Toro would be perfect as director too.

Anywho, in light of the recent and totally underwhelming Ghostbusters trailer, I figured I'd take a stab at...
Ghostbusters: Repossession
Peter Venkman - Chris Pratt
Even though he's the "it" leading man right now there's good reason. His charisma is undeniable and he encompasses all the humorous aspects that Bill Murray injected into the character.
Ray Stantz - Bill Hader
Bill Hader is quite talented and he could easily pull off the babbling/bumbling demeanor that Dan Aykroyd gave Ray.
Egon Spengler - Sacha Baron Cohen
Sacha is somewhat of a character actor, but in comedian form. Playing Egon would be a walk in the park for Sacha.
Winston Zeddemore - Orlando Jones
Winston isn't exactly a hard role to play, but I really like Orlando Jones and he would probably give some much needed quirkiness to the character. He's also an Ivan Reitman alumni, having starred in Evolution.
Janine Melnitz - Aubrey Plaza
She's perfect, 'nuff said.
Dana Barrett - Brie Larson
Brie is a very talented actress who can portray both subtlety and extreme emotions. She is also a very beautiful lady who can act down to earth.
Louis Tully - Charlie Day
Charlie played a similar role in Pacific Rim. Just make him less hipster and you've got Louis.
Zule - Tilda Swinton
Another actress perfect for the role. Again, 'nuff said.
DIRECTED BY EDGAR WRIGHT
He's directed 2 films that are quite similar to Ghostbusters, Shaun of the Dead and The World's End. All 3 are apocalyptic movies with truly horrific and disturbing elements that ultimately fall under the category of comedies. His action scenes are top notch and he excels at displaying the chemistry between actors, which is a key ingredient for a good Ghostbusters movie. Edgar's films are absolutely entertaining and his style would be perfect for a reboot/remake of the Ghostbusters franchise.
!!!BONUS!!!
Dr. Janosz Poha - Sharlto Copley
Sharlto is another character actor of sorts and could easily pull off an eccentric and awkward head of a museum.
Vigo - John Malkovich
Need I say anything?
