I wasn't sure if there was a thread on this or not, but I decided to create one anyway. I just finished reading Batman Detective Comics #831 and it focuses mainly on Harley Quinn where she is pleaing to get released from Arkham the honest way, she is denied but then broken out by the new Female Ventriloquist who needs her for a job and Harley ultimately ends up helping capturing her, and in turn gets Wayne's vote to set her free.

I was wondering if there are any other instances anyone can remember where a Villain has reformed and gone on the path of good. And even more, if one has every stayed on that path. haha.

Also, is this female version of the Ventriloquist, "Sugar", frequent or was this just a one off?

Another interesting thing to discuss might be heroes turned villains.

The new female Ventriloquist seems to be frequent. That Harley story was her 2nd appearance.

And Harley wont stay reformed for long.

The first Batman Adventures annual was called "Going Straight." A lot of villains tried to be good, but they couldn't stay on that path for long.

Supposedly the Penguin is reformed, and wasn't the Riddler too?

Catwoman.
Jason Todd looks like he's going that way.
Two-face has chosen "good" through the chance of the coin on several occasions.
Joker in the Goin' Sane LotDK arc.

Bane should be a reformed villain. He should take control of a violent, sprawling city in South America somewhere, keeping all the gangs and militias and political factions in line.

I think I read something where the Penguin was a proper business man and owned a club and a few things...or that might have been in TAS...hmm...

That would be a cool story arc.

And speaking of unwritten story-arcs, DC should make a new title for Alfred--like his experiences in the military and then butler training or something.
