Regarding other heroes...

Does anyone think we might see a few scenes of other heroes (both previous seen and unseen) making quick cameos in the movie? For example Green Arrow or Katana (& The Suicide Squad).

Steppenwolf name dropped some heroes, so we're bound to see the Lanterns and possibly the Thanagarians at some point.

They could throw in characters from Skwad, but I doubt it.

I think they might. There were some mumblings about there being a cameo from Harley and Joker, then there's the rumored appearance of Deathstroke. We know Lex is in it too. Darkseid also. Zeus and the other Olympian gods. Vulco, Orm and so on from Atlantis as well as the Amazons. I feel like to amp up how epic and grand in scope the movie feels, they'll stuff it with characters. That didn't quite bode well for people with BVS but with what's supposed to be a globe-trotting, huge, team-up event movie it would feel appropriate and would make it feel like the culmination of the events and plotlines we've had so far. I hope we do see some Skwad folks. I want to see flag and katana even if just briefly.

Steppenwolf's mention of Lanterns gives me some hope that the rumor about a Green Lantern showing up in the prologue may be true.

Yeah I reckon welll see at least one lantern. And maybe they'll namedrop someone like "oh we just got some samples back from Ryan Choi" or whatever

Hal Jordan is pretty much guaranteed for second part. Martian Manhunter, maybe as a plot device later on at final part. He is one of the powerful figures of JLA sometimes compared and even above Superman. I believe he will be more like Vision from AoU, since Mars already most likely got invaded by Darkseid already.

Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Black Canary and Zatanna are not very likely in my book. The movie is titled JLA and most focused on facing an unstoppable force against all odds. In fact, I believe there is more potential to JLA after Darkseid saga. Maybe a sequel about Nekron and Black Lanterns, then they may add more characters like Oliver and rest.

They're definitely setting up the Lanterns. Steppenwolf name drops them, and GL is present in the new DC opening logo.

I guess they'd have a good chance for a Squad cameo if there's shots of Parademons attacking across the globe. Could easily cut in a 30-minute scene of some Squad members holding down Belle Reve as Waller looks on with concern or what have you

I'd prefer no actual Lanterns though. A cameo of Hal or John pre-Lantern, with maybe a post-credits sequence with the Guardians looking at all the mess Steppenwolf and the League have made, and basically going "Well, ****balls. We'd best not let that happen again, eh? Let's give that sector its own Lantern so we don't get a repeat performance. Those idiots in tights down there can't be trusted. Go get the blonde or the black bloke sharpish."

...or words to that effect.

That sets up a decent and proper reason for Hal/John being recruited going into a standalone Corps movie.

Nobody else though. This isn't the bloody Avengers, with tons of already established characters. JL needs to keep the focus tight on the core members. Cramming others in failed miserably in BvS, and it'll fail in JL too.

I am curious if they could have hired actors and filmed scenes with other heroes and it not coming out...especially in this generation of cell phone cameras and leakers. Especially, if its a big time hero like a Green Lantern.
