Rip Rhett Morris (1992-2007)

I just to dedicate this thread to Rhett Morris. My friend "Ashley Morris's 15 yr old Brother". Rhett was a sweet, loving brother, and overall a true cowboy.

Rhett was helping Saturday November. 3, 2007 setup a bonfire for our Late Halloween Party we were going to have at Ashley's house. He was driving around a truck w/ supplies for the party. Rhett left the truck in neutral, got out and the truck began to move. Rhett decide to try to stop the truck but sadly was penned b/w the truck and a tree. Rhett was 15. The Morris Family is really taking this really hard and their faith is the only thing that is keeping their feet standing. Even if you are not a Christian or don't believe in God, I want to ask that you pray that God will give them the Strength to endure this tragedy and help us to be the best friends/family to Ashley, Her parents and Her Family.

Rhett was an awesome kid and everybody loved him sooo dearly. The sign-in book was filled for 15 pages top to bottom. Soo many loved Rhett Morris(15 years old).

 

He's always drove trucks and tractors around their farm. It's was just a part of his life. Rhett was close to 16 years old and very experienced with machinery and vehicles. It's just very tragic and such a freak accident.

 

Indeed. The funeral was this morning at 10a.m. @ Sandy Creek Baptist Church. It was very very difficult watching everyone in pain and having to see Rhett's mother, father, and sister knelt at his casket kissing him goodbye for the last time. I feel that it's going to be hardest on Rhett's mom and dad. They were taking it very hard.

Rhett was setting up for our Halloween Party on Saturday. He wanted to make everything perfect for his big sister's party and this tragic accident took place while his mom and sister were out shopping for the party.
