I think all will agree on the most exciting, "goosebumps" moment of the film:

Tom Felton's character: "Take your stinking paws off me, you damn dirty ape!" And Caesar screams: "NOOOOO!!!"

So awesome and chilling. The entire audience in my theater gasped.

Same here lol. My blackness came out because I jumped out of my seat and screamed HOLY ****. :awesome:

That's not quite fair. After all, it was Jacobs who took his "virus", and began large-scale testing, without his consent. Will even warned him of the consequences. Jacobs doomed humanity, Will just inadvertently enabled him.

I see your point. But, we never really saw Jacobs's apes going out of control. It was Will's Caesar that was smart enough to use Will's cure, free apes and lead them against humans. The apes from Jacobs's company only joined Caesar, once his group broke in.

But none of that doomed humanity, they just killed a few people and went off to try and live in peace. What doomed humanity is that the new cure wasn't safe for humans.

so if i rember good there are some deleted scenes?

i dont remember this in the movie

the first shot is just a money shot . no problem. i have a problem with the other two shots. from what i remember in the primate facility Caesar noticed that a female ape was taken to gyn-sis. i think it was Cornelia. so thats the reason why the apes went there. to save all the apes , but he went there only for her. the apes also destroyed the whole bulding which is a good scene because it shows that Caesar wanted to stop all experimenting. but everything was deleted. the movie is only 105 minutes long.

thats why i am saying that the movie only works because of Lithgow and Caesar. everything around them is a normal Fox movie with a short running time and deleted scenes.

The first shot was in the film, if I remember correctly.

The first shot was in the film. It was 105 minutes, but it turned out to be an awesome flick. If it was any longer this movie would not have opened as well as it has at the boxoffice. I am glad the movie got great reviews and had a great opening weekend. If they can continue to make great movies with 100+ minute runtime, I am fine with that.

You both wrong actually . We do see some apes escape on the roof but we never saw the Gorllia on the top of the roof doing his roar.

because i asked you if you checked your bootleg that means that i downloaded the movie on my computer?

Both of you knock off the bootleg talk.

And yes, we saw a shot of all of the apes escaping through the roof.

I was really sad that second shot never made it in. I really liked the way it was shot. Very cool looking.

The movie was amazing. Simply amazing.

I was wondering if someone could make me an avvy of Caesar when he is on the bridge and gives the command to attack?

I love the shot of Caesar standing on top the building throwing the spears down at the animal control truck, surrounded be the rest of the Apes.

I saw it yesterday and loved it!! Its the best movie of the summer for me! Also the cgi was amazing. It looked much better on film. This should easily snag awards for best sfx because nothing comes close this year as of yet.

It was "on like donkey kong" from then on. My theater gave a huge reaction to that. especially all the spears going through the truck.

One of my favorite shots was Ceasar overlooking the city from the park tree for the first time.

I'm going to see Final Destination 5 this weekend so later I may sneak into see this one too.

I'm actually shocked at the huge opening for this, from the trailers I thought it would bomb big time, it's clear that POTA has many fans and they're not just to see James Franco.

the movie was amazing... and andy serkis was genious..

but im sorry james franco was a block of wood in this movie... the cg apes had more emotion than franco.... and his character needed it unlike the other humans.

Yeah the scene was in the movie, but it was shortened. Buck the gorrilla didn't stand and beat his chest in the movie like he does in the trailer. The scene was shortened.

I saw this on a whim, i was going to see Cowboys and Aliens but arrived 10 minutes late for it, so chose this instead...guess i lucked out!
