It's better not acknowledged, trust me. I saw a few episodes and that was more than enough.

I think the intro should give you an idea:

This picture sums up my feelings towards Alpha Commando pretty well:

I loved that series as a kid lol

He was turned into Inspector Gadget :D

Eh, I suppose taken as it's own silly spin-off with no connection at all to the films, it's okay.

I remember the short-lived 1988 cartoon series actually being pretty good. So funny how back in those days ultra-violent R-rated movies got made into cartoons aimed at kids.

Still cant believe they made a rambo cartoon lol

I'm honestly to see the Operation: Aliens pilot. I bet it's probably amusing to see a scary and violent film like Aliens made into something kid-friendly like a cartoon.

I remember the Robocop series, that was pretty bad. But the game I really enjoyed was Robocop vs Terminator. Still think that could of been an awesome movie if done right.

it could still be done, just not live action

it'd be cool to have a CGI/animated type of film with Peter Weller & Arnie doing voice over to their characters

get Frank Miller & the DC animated team to work on it and it could be awesome

I love the RVT game for the Genesis, one of my all-time favorites. Too bad it didn't get made into a movie, it was actually planned to be made around the 90s but fell through when a director couldn't be found for it :( Still, it could probably be made today, as Arnold and Weller are in decent enough physical shape to reprise the title characters at least once more for it.

I used to have this toy back in the day.

I've been searching YouTube for old toy commercials of toys that i had. Trip down memory lane.

The X-Men one always cracked me up.

"Wolverine flashes claws of steel"

haha

Robocop vs Terminator movie is as bad an idea as an Alien vs Predator movie. Keep it in the games and comics. Making movies out of them cheapens both characters/franchises. Makes them into nothing but a gimmick, like what the AvP films did.

Yeah exactly, such a pity, I think the script for that movie is floating around somewhere on the internet. It would make sense to connect OCP with Cyberdyne. I guess really Cameron and Verhoeven were done with those movies by that point, Shame!

Why would it be cheap or a gimmick? Crossovers if done right can be very creative and a good way to take series to new territory. The AVP films aren't a good example since they botched the concept and didn't go with the comics or games that did it much better and would've translated well to film.

I always thought that made sense OCP and Cyberdyne were connected. I could've even seen Dyson being apart of the RoboCop program and after that he did more research on the chip salvaged from the original T-800. And I always imagined OCP buying out Cyberdyne following T2, the designs of ED-209 and RoboCain being the precursor to the more advanced HK designs, etc. makes a lot of sense.

I know Cameron wrote T2 with the intent of it being the end of the Terminator storyline, and I think I read somewhere Verhoeven isn't a fan of sequels. So it's not surprising both would turn it down. I wonder who else could be a good director to step into their shoes for an RVT movie, someone who's a fan of both RoboCop and Terminator, and can bring the best of both into one movie?

NOOOO!!!!

Did you SEE Robocop 2 or 3, or the Spirit?

On the subject of RVT, we at least have these pretty neat fan-made edits:

I think the best part of that video is the lyrics to the song. Deep and profound...yet never let's you forget who the show is about.

I use to watch the show before walking to junior high in the morning

There was this kid with ADHD who kept bringing up the implausibility of Robocops gadgets

"How did he get skies in his legs?"

"How did that come out of arms?

I thought the show was great.

That show was awesome. I'm not ashamed to say I love that theme song.
